Original owner of 2008 Martin Bros. chopper recently seen hanging out in
background of Velocity's Iron Resurrection. Estimated 15K miles. 107"
S&S diamond cut motor. 6 speed trans. 240 rear wheel and 21" front. New tires and
battery. Softail with air ride suspension system.
Please note that I am selling this chopper for my father who is the original owner and knows Joe personally. Dad also has an orange Martin Bros. bagger that may be listed at some point if this sale is successful. I encourage you to ask as many questions as possible, but also know that response times could be a little longer--4 to 12 hrs--depending on the nature of the question since I will need to forward to my father. Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class
Wed, 27 Feb 2013The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
