2005 Custom Build Chopper

Custom built chopper with rare parts and a classic long stance. This chopper was built was built with a Choppers Unlimited frame and Solid hidden travel fork. For those that remember, Choppers unlimited was closed with the owner made a run for it. This is a cool bike with rare parts that will stand out at your local bike night with out breaking the bank. The Crate 80 motor is super reliable, and the 100 spoke wheels with rear Sprotor Brake look sick.

I am listing this bike for a friend who built it as a show and promotional bike for his Harley Dealership many years ago. Last year, the “American Chopper” TV franchise was reinvigorated by a special live show that brought in nearly 5 million total viewers and was the most-watched show among men of the entire TV schedule’s night. Called “American Chopper Live – The Build-Off,” the show pitted the Orange County Chopper crew against Paul Jr. Designs and the irascible malcontent Jesse James.

SAM Christmas has been a professional photographer for the last 3 years and is the man behind Natural Habitats, a collection of photos covering the growing UK custom scene, showing bikes and their builders at home. Sam's clients include the likes of Honda, Dainese, Google, Polo Jeans and Edwin denim but Natural Habitats is a personal project that took one and a half years to complete. I got to meet Sam when the exhibition opened in Shoreditch on Thursday evening.
