Up for auction is my custom frame rigid chopper. This bike was professionally built here in Texas, many hours have been spent on attention to detail and fabrication to give it a clean, basic appearance while remaining street legal and reliable as a daily driver. It has a fresh 100" RevTech engine, new five-speed left drive tranny and 3" open primary with less than 100 break-in miles on it. New Metzler rubber (21" front, 200x17" rear) and all new tins, brake lines and cables. This bike honestly needs nothing but a new owner! It has a great tune on it and the shorty drag pipes have a great, distinctive tone. Not built as a show bike or "trailer queen", this bike was built to be a reliable driver. It runs and drives great. Feel free to email any questions you may have. It is a clear Texas title (actually titled as a '52 HD- long story). Mon, 24 Nov 2008Normally when I think of a custom chopper, I envision something like Wyatt’s Captain America bike or even retro re-creations like the Harley Davidson Cross Bones. After all the act of chopping normally referred to forks and frames, not chopping wood. A unique ride recently added to eBay breaks from this tradition with a wooden hot rod built around the engine and transmission from a 1952 Ariel Square 4 motorcycle.
Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
