For sale is my 2013 Can-Am Spyder RS SM5. The average retail price on NADAGuides.com for this Can-Am is $10,496 including the passenger backrest. I bought it in June 2014 from RideNow PowerSports Phoenix. It is in excellent condition 1,325 miles on the clock and it has always been garaged. The 1,000 mile service was done on 4/28/2015 by Apache Motorcycles Mesa. The title is clear. Fitted extras are: 12 volt socket fitted in the luggage trunk and the genuine Can-Am passenger backrest. I will only accept payment by Cash in Person or a cashiers check, if paying with a cashiers check I will hold the title until payment is cleared, I will provide a copy of the title. I require a non-refundable $500 deposit By PayPal. Buyer must collect or arrange transport. This vehicle is being offered as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.

Developed in partnership with the Advanced Technology Center at Sherbrooke University in Quebec and with funding from the Government of Canada, the hybrid Spyder is an ambitious project for BRP. We met up with Scott MacWilliam from BRP at the Toronto Motorcycle Show to take a look at a working prototype of the Can-Am’s hybrid three-wheeler.

Thu, 03 Apr 2014Canadian company Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has an ongoing relationship with the National Hockey League (NHL), and it’s latest iteration has sports legends telling how much they like riding Can-Am Spyders. An earlier video had NASCAR racer Danica Patrick riding the Spyder around Charlotte Motor Speedway. Well, not BRP has tapped six-time Stanley Cup champion Mark Messier to use his own special technique to reach out to potential riders.
