Can-Am RS Spider description

This is the perfect RVers go-anywhere package. You are looking at a 2012 Can Am Spider RS in mint condition (under two hundred miles) with extras added. The extras on the Can-Am are: 1) one new OEM chrome rear wheel (wheel, S&H, labor & tax  $900+), and 2) Air Force Pinup Girl Decals (front/back, $300+). Included in the Buy-Now price is a Stehl-Toe-Brand car carrier. This is the perfect carrier for this type of vehicle. You drive up the ramps, the front wheels come off the ground, the front tires are tied down with heavy straps, and the trike trails behind your tow vehicle riding on the its back wheel. This car carrier is very solid. It was reinforced with quarter inch diamond pattern aluminum plates, and is often used to tow much heavier vehicles. It shows minor dings and the usual surface rust. It was just rewired; new ball bearings were installed and lubricated. Straps, tools, hardware etc.are included but not shown. Again, Buy-Now price includes both items. Don’t like the decals...wrong branch of the service? No problem, grab a hair dryer, peel them off, put on a good coat of wax, and the machine will look just like it looked when it came off the show room. Don’t like the chrome back wheel? You can have the original, mint-condition, silver back wheel but you’ll have to install it yourself (3 hrs. +). We’re located in Rochester NY, Zip Code 14606. Pay in full, drive down with your tow vehicle, enjoy the beautiful NYS fall foliage, check out our fine wineries, and take home your new toy safely with full confidence. Whatever factory warranty is left is between you and your service provider. Note: car carriers or "tow dollies" such as this one do not require title, license, or registration in NYS. It is your responsibility to find out what your state's DMV requirements are before you bid. Winning bidder will get a signed receipt for the car carrier and a free and clear NYS title for the trike. Both the machine and the tow dolly are sold “where is,” “as is.” Aside from e-Bay's protection, the only guarantee I offer is good faith, and “accurate descriptions." I require a five-hundred USD deposit within forty-eight hours (48) of auction close time, and full payment within seven (7) business days of auction close date. Thanks for looking and God Luck!

Can-Am Spyder RT-5 Highlight Video

Thu, 05 Nov 2009

In September, Fonzie brought us a report on the 2010 Spyder RT direct from the Can-Am beehive in Valcourt, Quebec, Canada. With more carrying capacity than ANY motorcycle on the market even some automobiles - Can-Am sent touring guru and friend-of-MO, Fred Rau, on a tour of Canada and the United States to promote the new 5-speed luxury touring roadster. For those of you not following Freds blog @ SpyderFred.com, heres a little taste of the scenes and opinions he encountered on his great many miles.

Will The Bombardier Trailtrike Make Trikes Cool?

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Charles Bombardier, creator of the highly controversial Can-Am Spyder and grandson of the man who invented the snowmobile, thinks he has an idea to make trikes cool. It’s a tall order, considering most motorcycling circles banish three-wheelers as some kind of second class device, not worthy of mingling with true two wheelers. While Bombardier’s Trailtrike still has two wheels in front and one in back, he tells Popular Sciencethe difference is that the Trailtrike can be ridden both on- and off-road.
