Buell Lightning description

The American sportsbike, sounds like a Harley but rides like a sportsbike. Innovative design with an air box on top; the fuel is carried in the frame and the oil is in the swing arm. It's a very cool, fun bike to ride. I hate to give it up but I need to make room in the garage.

The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.
