Buell Lightning description

Awesome ride. needs nothing. Nearly track ready but still street legal. Bulldog of a ride.Extremely loud two into one Alumi-coated header.  Harley heart and soul with the ride of a sport bike. Modified clip ons for a more aggressive stance. I have both the Red body plastic and the Blue. Very rare to have both. Seat recovered and looks better than new. Heated grips for cold weather riding. I cant say enough about this bike. It totally rocks. Hop on and ride anywhere. I hate to sell it but I have three bikes and too many bills to pay. I can be reached at 256-566-2489. If you dont leave a message or talk to me personally I will cancel your bid. I want to sell this bike not play games with scammers. Good luck.

As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
