Buell Lightning tech info
Buell Lightning description
1999 Buell X1 Carbon Extreme 18,345 miles very well
maintained with synthetic oil and transmission fluid. Good tires with plenty of
tread. This is a piece of American motorcycle history designed by Eric Buell. This
is a tube framed sport bike with a 1203cc high performance variant of the
Harley Davidson Sportster engine. This bike is part of a limited edition of
only 250 carbon fiber clad machines. This was the first carbon fiber model ever
offered. She runs very strong and is a beast. She has a small blemish on the
tank cover (pictured), and the turn signals stopped working probably a short in
the wiring. I do take her out for a short ride now and then, and she is very
dependable. This bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the
auction early. The buyer will be responsible for pick-up or shipping.
