Bobber Other tech info
Bobber Other description
Custom hardtail bike built off a 99 shadow 750 ace. Super reliable one of bike. Salvage title but most of the bike isn't original. Every one thinks it's a fifties Indian or Harley which is what I was going for. Painted 64 Mini Cooper iris blue. Lots of mods and custom parts including a professional hard tail kit. It's stripped down and has no gauges or signals, but has brake/running lights. I can toss in an unmounted speedo. Single swingarm style saddlebag. Only thing It still needs is actual white walls (these are rubber painted but have plenty of tread left.) very fast and very loud. The only issue is the gas tank can be resealed on the inside as there is some corrosion, but I just clean the inline filter every 2 months and I haven't had an issue. I ride it every other day and it's very reliable. I don't really want to sell it but will for this price or trade for a model a roadster most any condition. has salvage title but I will be keeping the custom plate so you will need to buy a new plate at the dmv for $35. |

Steve McQueen’s Von Dutch Customized Bikes to be Auctioned Tomorrow
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Here’s an opportunity to own motorcycles associated with Steve McQueen and Von Dutch - need we say more? Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.
