Bobber Bobber description

1996 Harley Davidson Custom Bobber

Great looking custom bobber.  I did not originally build this bike, but did take it down to the frame, and re-build it back to what you see, after I acquired it.

The frame is now a rigid sportster, which was stripped and powder coated.

The tins are also all powder coated the same color as the frame, which is a dark cherry color.  I do have a front fender, to go with the bike, just don’t have it on in the pictures.

Engine is a 1200cc EVO,  numbers show it originally as an 883, but was jugged to 1200, during the original build.  Don’t have the papers to prove it, but very noticeable when you ride.

Some of the features:

  • Power coated frame, and tins
  • Pro One front end
  • 18” Handlebars
  • Custom made oil tank
  • RevTech Ignition - Custom push button start
  • Custom Wrapped Exhaust
  • 3100k

I really like this bike, but need to get a bike that is not rigid, had back surgery not too long ago, so just need to go with a smoother ride.

I am more looking to sell the bike,,   I will only consider trades for the following bikes: (NO CARS, TRUCKS, BOATS, ATV'S, HORSES, WAGONS, WIFES, ONLY BIKES)

  • Road King
  • StreetGlide
  • Victory - (any with the 106 motor)
  • Indian - (far fetched I know)

I’m OK with most any year, just as long as the mileage is not too high, 30k and below I will consider,  you can always txt or email me and ask.  If you have a trade, send a picture with your email or txt if possible.

You can always email me an offer, don't be afraid too,,  I can also make a video of the bike running if someone requests it,  just email, me and I will send you a link to the tube, so you can view it

British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.

The Harbortown Bobber DVD Review

Fri, 22 Jan 2010

On the surface, The Harbortown Bobber by One World Studios Ltd. is a documentary about the build/restoration of a bobber bike owned by Scott Di Lalla, co-founder of One World, and co-producer/co-director of Harbortown. However, what I took away from the 75-minute DVD was that the film is less about the skeletal remains of a ’69/’71 Triumph rising from the ashes, and more about the people (characters in a film for sure!) that help Scott along the way to realizing his dream of breathing life into a bobber of his own.
