Bimota SB8R tech info
Bimota SB8R description
2000 Bimota SB8R
Absolutely mint condition. Stored in a climate controlled living room. I have an ultra rare carbon fiber bodywork installed. This is one of only 3 made by carbon dreams. This bodywork was produced by the same company that produces the carbon bodywork for the SB8R. It's gorgeous! I also have the original body work. The original cost of the carbon fiber fairing alone was $8,200.!!! The motorcycle has only 1055 original miles. I replaced the original tires with Diablo Rossi Coursa tires. They have 5 miles on them. There is not a scratch on this bike. It is showroom perfect. All original. I have factory manuals and other related paperwork that goes with the bike. I have the orig keys and factory leather key fob. I have included a super rare "Press Release" packet used for the world release of the SS8R. I'm selling this motorcycle as well as a few others in my collection to make room for a motorcycle showroom I'm constructing. The most discriminating buyer won't be disappointed. Additional photos or any questions, feel free to call me at 518-526-1910. Thanks for your time. |

Massimo Tamburini: 1943 – 2014
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Massimo Tamburini, creator of some of the industry’s most iconic motorcycle designs, has succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 70. Tamburini was diagnosed with the disease last November and underwent chemotherapy treatment but passed away April 6. Earning renown for designing motorcycles such as the Ducati 916 and the MV Agusta F4, Tamburini’s name will be forever linked with those two companies, as well as Cagiva and helped found Bimota (Tamburini is the “Ta” in the company’s name.)
