Benelli Quattro tech info
Benelli Quattro description
This original unmolested survivor is one(1) of four(4) bikes for sale from my collection, and is currently part of a two(2) month exhibit ending on 9/5/16 at The Stony Brook Museum Educational and Cultural Center in Stony Brook, New York. I purchased this bike 9 years ago as I have a six(6) cylinder Benelli, and wanted to also have a four(4). Paint and everything else is original on this bike except for normal maintenance items and tires. The four(4) Dellorto carbs were completely rebuilt over the past winter and a new battery was installed. With it's 5-speed transmission, 10.2:1 compression ratio and SOHC 9500rpm 4 cylinder engine, the Quattro was ahead of it's time, is very responsive and has a truly unique exhaust note. Factory OEM Marzzochi suspension, Tommaselli electrical switches, front Brembo disc brake, Veglia instruments, Silentium/Busso Torino exhaust system, Bosch alternator and regulator, etc. Included are the factory parts manual and original 56 page "rider's handbook" This is a very rare machine. 9 9 |
