Benelli 900 SEI 6 cylinder description

1983 Benelli 900 SEI – 3900 original miles

Allesandro de Tomaso (of de Tomaso supercar fame) designed this bike with the intent of beating the Japanese in the production of high performance multi-cylinder motorcycles.

The Benelli SEI was the world's first production six-cylinder motorcycle!

115 mph with a claimed 80 hp.

This bike has just under 3900 miles and is in excellent original condition. The 1st owner sourced a 140 MPH clock (apparently rather rare), and at 1264 miles switched it out against the original 80 MPH clock. Current Odometer reading is 2593 miles. I am the 4th owner .

- The bike has always been kept inside in a climate controlled storage.

- Paint, fiberglass and all metal finishes are in excellent original condition, see pictures for detailed cosmetic condition.

- The seat cover (cover only) has several pin sized scratches from the original owner's cat, see picture.

- The Silentium silencers are in excellent condition.

- Battery is a Shorai lithium type

-Tires are 5 years old with about 1600 miles. Tread is still good.

- Owner’s manual.

The bike is one of several classic bikes in my collection and it got regularly used on short trips. Bike runs strong, starts easily with the electric starter and is ready to ride. Of course keep in mind that the bike is 33 years old and there are not too many experts out there if anything goes wrong. .

The bike comes with a bill of sale and a current CA registration in my name.

Sale is final, sold as is, where is  -  no warranty, no returns.

Non refundable deposit of $500 by Paypal. Balance preferred CASH IN PERSON OR CASHIER CHECK.

Pick up only after all money has cleared my bank account.

Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer; I am willing to assist a shipper.

Please ensure the bike will be picked up within 4 weeks.

Thanks for bidding.

Benelli explores Europe

Sat, 14 May 2016

The Chinese owners of the Italian brand Benelli are targeting the European market. The company is preparing to release two new motorcycles, a 750cc and a 900cc naked. The yellow naked, very similar to the Ducati Monster, is equipped with a 750cc parallel twin, an imposing inverted telescopic fork and a dual disc front brake with radial calipers.

Love for a motorbike expressed through dance

Mon, 12 Jul 2010

People display their motorcycle affections in various different ways such as; buying top of the line kit and keeping their machine in pristine condition. However, they don't come stranger than the top clip as this rider creates an original but highly strange dance routine for his Benelli TNT Cafe Racer. If you love your bike as much as this guy, instead of creating a dance routine why not tell everyone how great it is in Visordown's review section.
