Mostly original bike. Top end re-done, retaining original high comp Pistons(std bore) with new rings, valves and guides. Cycle has been gone through, greased, lubed and safe to ride. Tank was caswell coated. I did not change any parts on the bike to keep it as original as I found it. This is a chance to own, ride and/or restore a beautiful collectible BSA

The revived BSA brand showed its first Gold Star model
Fri, 04 Mar 2022At last we have a brand new model of the beloved brand: after the success of Royal Enfield and Jawa, the British BSA has returned to service. The single-cylinder classic Gold Star will enter the European market - a spiritual successor to the original company's lineup, but with a completely modern filling. The novelty is equipped with a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, two overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder, a working volume of 652 cm3.
Man Builds Sidecar from Bathtub
Thu, 23 Apr 2009Back in 1997, an unusual motorcycle appeared on the front page of the Bristol Evening Post. Unable to afford a costly traditional sidecar, bus driver Alan Iles of Bedminster opted to build his own, using a bathtub. Twelve years later, the 1959 650cc BSA is still going and has been ridden all over Europe to help raise money for Cancer research and various charities, for which he has raised thousands of British pounds.
