I am listing this BSA for a friend of mine. He is the second owner of it since new.

For Sale: BSA Firebird Scrambler 1968. This machine is in original condition with 950 miles on the clock. Details:

Bike runs well, all equipment is in working condition (lights, gauges, and switches).
All 4 original keys (2 ignition, 2 steering lock) included.
Original Dunlop K70 tires (Made in UK) with no cracks or rot.
Original exhaust pipes/mufflers with no bluing or dings.
Complete original tool kit including valve stem tool, timing peg, etc..
Original paint/decals.
Original seat/seat cover
All original rubbers (foot pegs, grips, etc.)
Original fuel lines/gas taps.
New battery installed.
Tank recently coated with Caswell tank sealant.

Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

The revived BSA brand showed its first Gold Star model

At last we have a brand new model of the beloved brand: after the success of Royal Enfield and Jawa, the British BSA has returned to service. The single-cylinder classic Gold Star will enter the European market - a spiritual successor to the original company's lineup, but with a completely modern filling. The novelty is equipped with a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, two overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder, a working volume of 652 cm3.
