1972 low mileage (1,653) B50T professionally restored as a B50SS Gold Star. Correct B50SS front fender, wheel, conical brake, and tire. Original fasteners, hardware, and wiring. Correct Black Wrinkle finish on front and rear brake plates. Correct factory colors for B50SS. Correct decals and transfers. Gas Tank lined with Caswell epoxy kit. Great condition original seat. Tool kit and Owner's Manual. Correct size Dunlop tires. All electrics, horn, lights, and switches function. Speedometer, odometer and tripometer all function. Fork lock works and there are 2 sets of keys. New battery and fresh oil. Starts like any large bore British Single - 34 bhp. Has compression release. Shifts smoothly and pulls well. Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.
