BSA A65 tech info
BSA A65 description
We have owned this for over twenty years. Was not enough to put back to original. Set it up for dirt roads or you could play on the flat track.
It is set up on total loss ignition. Battery and toggle switch is what it is on. The alternator works and still in the motor. But is not hooked up. Motor sounds good. Clutch works good. Third back to second, skips. First, second, third and forurth work fine. Going back down, it skips second gear and takes two tries. Brakes work ok. Leaks some oil, what can I say, it is British and old. Yes the fuel tank is a Triumph. Questions, please ask. Buyer responsible for shipping charges. |

What’s Old Is New Again – Video
Mon, 14 Oct 2013There’s something distinctly cool about old British motorcycles. From the wire wheels, the minimal bodywork, and the exposed engines which give off a thunderous bark, I’ve always loved looking at old Triumphs, BSAs and the like from the 60s. I’ve never owned one though. The reason is simple: old British bikes are needy little maintenance machines notorious for the odd oil leak.
