2002 BMW R1150R purchased at Kearney Mesa BMW in 2014, new clutch, "good for another 100,000 miles" in their words Bike itself with heated grips, cruise control. windshield, twin cases, no road damage; 2015: M72D Sidecar added at DMC Sidecars, Enumclaw WA: Sidecar with brake, power outlet, tonneau, windshield, twin headlights, front and rear luggage racks, locked trunk; Bike: yellow; Sidecar: gloss black; Both in primo condition, no damage; Superior power, twice that of a Ural, with better, more high quality construction. Less than 150 miles total on each since bike purchase and sidecar addition. Bike bought for $5,100; Sidecar installed $10,500. Together,both for sale for no less than $7,500; will dialogue on separation of both, although they are superiorly joined by DMC factory installation. BMW Acquires Original Factory
Wed, 26 Feb 2014BMW has acquired a 3.2-acre parcel of land that includes the company’s original factory. Built in 1918, the historic site in the Milbertshofen district of Munich, Germany, housed BMW’s original aircraft engine production plant. The company says the land will become the new home for BMW Group Classic, a subsidiary that documents BMW’s past.
