BMW R-Series description

This motorcycle is perfect, in like new condition. I bought it with 240 miles and it now 700 miles. The first maintenance service was performed last week at the dealer. I have the record. Next maintenance service is due in 12 months or 6,000 miles, whichever comes first. The options include a rear BMW carrying case, ABS, engine protector, windshield and heated hand grips. I have checked and I know this is the best deal in the market for the very reliable, much fun 650 GS used - best value for your money! It also has factory warranty until 2018.

Documents released by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board confirm the existence of a new member of BMW‘s F800 lineup, the F800GT. The 2013 BMW F800GT will likely be a more touring-oriented replacement for the F800ST (pictured above) which was conspicuously absent from the CARB document.

Öhlins has introduced what it is calling the world’s first replacement electronic suspension system, with a new aftermarket replacement kit for the BMW R1200GS’s Enduro ESA system. Like BMW‘s ESA and ESA II technology, Öhlins’ system lets riders adapt a motorcycle’s suspension with the push of a button. Öhlins’ system works with the R1200GS’s ECU and the existing user interface.

Will the road-going RCV look like this?

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Honda announced in a dry-as-you-like press release that a new bike was coming.  Not another motorcycle-cum-medical aid like the DN-01 or Integra, this is going to be a proper bike. A bike in a similar vein to previous bikes in the RC series, the RC30, RC45 and RC51, aimed squarely at winning races. So what's it going to look like?
