Pretty much brand new! Bought new in 2012, only has 631 miles on it. Has been in the garage since September of 2012. Includes original 2 keys, manuals, and windshield. Has the remaining of the 3 year factory warranty.
The metallic red was a special edition paint for the R1200r ONLY done for 2012.

It is not being ridden currently so miles will not change. It can be taken out of storage and started up for viewing purposes for those who are serious about purchasing it.
The only scratch on it is at the bottom of the valve cover where it rubbed against things in the garage as it was going in and out. Never wrecked or dropped, clear title with lien on it.

BMW Posts Record First-Half Figures

First half figures were 6.3% higher than the 57,015 units sold in the same period in 2010. BMW reports strong demand across all its models, with the Boxer engine R-series models leading the way.
BMW Names Schaller New Head of Motorcycle Development
Fri, 28 Feb 2014BMW has appointed Karl Viktor Schaller as its new head of BMW Motorrad development. Schaller will replace Christian Landerl who headed motorcycle development since November 2008. Schaller studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich before becoming a scientific assistant at the research institute for gear wheels and gear manufacturing.
