BMW R-Series description

This is a 2010 BMW S1000RR garage kept and highly maintained. Every fairing part that is visible is Carbon Fiber. The Carbon Fiber is all Twill except for the badge holder and the side of the tank that is Plain Carbon Fiber for texture. The spark plugs were changed in April along with the oil and oil filter. The final drive (Super Sprox), front breaks, and back breaks were replaced in August 2015. The tires are Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa they are in great shape and were placed on the bike in September 2015. This S1000RR was Cover on the Speed and Strength website 2010, 2011, 2012 and posted in the 2012 MotoGP Speed and Strength Tent.

The only problem that the motorcycle has is that the starter gear doesn't engage immediately on initial start up but only on initial start up.

Buyer is responsible for pickup of the motorcycle at the local police station (for safety).
The motorcycle will not be released until funds are cleared. Cash is the fastest way to pick up the motorcycle immediately. There is a 500.00 non-refundable deposit that is due within 24 hours and full payment within 7 days. The motorcycle will be relisted after 24 hours if no monies are deposited or if full payment isn't made in 7 days after the deposit. That buyer will be blocked from future auctions. I reserve the right to end the auction as I see fit.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
