Red 2004 R1150 RT. Twin spark motor which eliminates surging issues of earlier oilheads and uses no oil. Mobil 1 Synthetic used at all oil changes. I have owned this Motorcycle for a short time, it was originally an Edelweiss touring bike and it was bought from Irv Seaver BMW. I am the third owner. Well maintained and smooth shifting and riding. Suburban machinery foot peg lowering kit with shifter relocation, PIAA aux. lighting (foot pegs pictured on these mounts are removed), 1" bar backs. Extra Large Cee Bailey windshield. Wired for Garmin Zumo 665 (not included) with RCU shelf. Last service was at 78k which included bleeding abs and all new brake fluid. Next scheduled service at 84k. No error codes and no issues with electrical systems on bike. Original parts are included in sale. One of the greatest bikes created by them, shown to the public last year, is this BMW R100RS finished in official Bayerishe Motorwerke livery.The original bike, that was considered in the past like a sort of modern hypersport, received some radical changes that have updated the boxer powered motorcycle. It features new rims, so modern tyres can be used, a new exhaust system (2 into 1), the classic Ohlins fork with dark colour finish and the rear shock is Ohlins too.
Charley Boorman Tours Canada for New Series
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Actor and adventure rider Charley Boorman is getting ready for another journey, this one taking him across the Great White North on a tour of Canada. Best known for his Long Way Round and Long Way Down documentaries with his friend and riding partner Ewan McGregor, Boorman is touring Canada for a new series called Extreme Frontiers: Canada for the U.K.’s Channel 5. BMW Motorrad Canada will provide Boorman with his ride, likely from its GS line.
