BMW R-Series description

Just pulled this out of a friends garage, no longer riding 2 wheels, drained the gas ,dusted it off and put a fresh battery in it and fired it up. Hasn't been on the road in a while but owner maintained it until a couple of years ago. My friend tells me he paid $18,000.00 all said and done when he bought it new, just a gorgeous bike. Come and take a look, beautiful shape, no dents or scratches, never dropped, located in southern New York state. 845-304-0474

Milan Show: Moto2 tried and tested

Tue, 02 Nov 2010

The insanity of Moto2 doesn't seem like the right home for the elegance of the Rizoma brand. But the Rizoma ProGuard system has helped secure the levers of Toni Elias on his road to championship success in the inaugural Moto2 season. The example above was on an attractive Rizoma-enhanced BMW S1000RR, but the lever guards are not limited to sports bikes, they were also visible on Yamaha's FZ8.  The patented design can tilt up to 10 degrees providing full lever coverage and can be added by simply replacing the bike's existing bar-ends.

Spy Video Provides Up-Close Look at 2014 BMW R1200RT/R1200GT

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

Last month, we published spy photos of what appeared to be some prototypes of the 2014 BMW R1200RT sport-tourer undergoing testing somewhere in southern France. Unfortunately, the photographs were captured from far away, preventing us from seeing many details apart from the new water-cooled Boxer engine from the new GS and what appears to be the adaptive headlight from the K1600GT and GTL. Thankfully, a new video has surfaced, providing an up-close look at the new R1200RT.
