BMW R-Series description
Beautiful and rather rare 1984 R-80-ST. It runs very well. Has been garaged and started frequently, and ridden in the last 6 months. I was told it is a 1983 even though the paper work says 1984. Speedometer reads 373 miles. It is stock except for: It has been lowered for the needs of a doctor who owned it before we bought it back. The seat, shocks and tires have been modified to lower the entire bike making it a very nice motorcycle for a shorter rider or as a first bike. Nothing has been altered that cannot be taken back to stock. The frame has not been altered at all. Instrument panel has machine turning. It lived near the beach for 3 years, so there is some paint oxidation as seen in the pictures. Head protectors have been added There is a new Clymer’s manual, new battery, and a second seat lock Front fender to ground 26” Seat to ground 32” Back fender to ground 33” Rear tire: Dunlop 491/120-90B18 71H Front tire: Avon AM20 90-H18 Akront aluminum rims If the bike is taken for a test ride, the asking price in cash must be left with me. The bike can be picked up at my home near San Diego, or I will help the buyer with shipping arrangements.
