Nicely restored 1982 BMW R100RS Sport Touring bike. 

Runs exceptionally well. 

Brand new tires.

Electrics and ignition rebuilt in 2013.

Engine rebuilt and Mikuni carbs with new valve covers, etc in 2007. 

Price includes original hard case saddle bags, tank top touring pack and tools. 

Spare parts, manuals, fairing (not currently attached) and other documents included.

In recent months, numerous prototypes of the upcoming 2014 BMW 4-Series Convertible have been spotted testing. As a result of the seemingly lengthy development time of the drop-top version of the new 4-Series, we’ve been waiting with baited breath for the car’s official release. While the car remains unreleased, a few images of the new BMW 4-Series Convertible have leaked online apparently sourced from an official brochure for the new car.

Over the summer, we came across spy photos of a new naked version of the BMW S1000RR and a new air-cooled boxer roadster and hoped at least one of the two would be unveiled at either Intermot or the EICMA. Intermot came and went without a word and now EICMA is upon us we have … well, several words but no new model. Yet.

European Parliament Makes ABS Mandatory, Tighten Emissions Standards by 2016

The European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of new rules that would increase emission standards and make anti-lock braking systems mandatory for all new large motorcycles, scooters and trikes and quads by 2016. The new regulations, which would still need approval from European Union member states, may only directly affect Europe, but they will have a wide-reaching affect on manufacturers’ product development for other markets. BMW, for example, has already made ABS standard for all its motorcycles for 2013.
