BMW R-Series description

You are bidding on a 1976 BMW R75/6 motorcycle.  I have owned this bike for 1 year.  It had been previously owned by a local attorney who had it serviced, gas drained and parked it at the end of 2004.  It had been sitting in a conditioned garage until I purchased it.  It has a clean Indiana title.  I checked all of the vitals, filled with fresh gas and installed a battery.  The bike started and runs.  I have not taken any of the components off of the motor, or done any type of internal inspection.  I have ridden it about 15 miles.  I did rebuild the front master cylinder which was leaking and it now works perfectly.  I bought it as a project bike but decided to sell because of an out of state job transfer.  There are some scratches in the paintwork and a couple small dents in the tank.  The pictures tell the story.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional photos.

The successful bidder is solely responsible for pick up.  I have no way to transport the motorcycle.  If you require shipping, it must be picked up by your shipper here.  The motorcycle must be paid for in full prior to pickup.

Thank you for bidding.

There a couple things on this bike that I want to mention that are not perfect.

Missing seat hinges and seat lock

No horn but wiring is in place

Wrong battery

Missing emblem on left side of the motor

Clock and amp meter do not work

Small tear in seat cover

Corbin Rider Appreciation Day July 5 & 6 In Conjunction With Rebirth Of Hollister Rally

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

Corbin has announced that all vendor spaces on the lot are filled for their 4th Annual Rider Appreciation Day, held this year on July 5 and 6. Last year, Corbin had thousands of riders show up to help celebrate our country’s birthday and take part in the festivities and expects a much bigger crowd this year, since the city has approved the Hollister Rally and the event covers two days. Mike Corbin reported that the city is feverishly working on the final details in order to make this year’s Hollister Rally one to remember.

Latest on my S1000RR

Mon, 04 Oct 2010

Not sure what's going on with the sound in this vid, but it calms down after a minute - sorry! As my long term BMW S1000RR does most of its miles working hard on track days, I felt an early 6000 mile service might be a good idea. A quick phone call to my local dealer (the friendly and efficient Pidcocks) saw my bike in the workshop the following week and back in my hands by lunchtime.

V.I.P treatment for first Dainese D-Air customers

Fri, 08 Jul 2011

To celebrate the release of the D-Air race suit in the UK, Dainese are offering the first 20 customers to order a complete V.I.P treatment at the upcoming World Superbike round at Silverstone. The iconic safety brand will have each of the customer's suits personally tailored, with measurements undertaken by a Dainese D-Air engineer from the factory in Italy. Following this, the first 20 customers to register will receive a hospitality lunch, garage tours of the Aprilia, BMW and Kawasaki teams with the opportunity to meet the Dainese riders and rub well protected shoulders with the big names of the WSB paddock.
