BMW R-Series description
A very special motorcycle rebuilt by us (Bombar's Beemers) four years ago. It has a rare Don Vesco Rabid Transit fairing, Corbin seat, R90S rear fender, Nippon Denso high end starter, Dyna III electronic ignition, Dyna Coils, Carbs completely rebuilt, all fluids and service performed. Lester wheels and newer tires. Top end of the engine was rebuilt by Peter Bombar. Beautiful paint, mint exhausts, and new bags. Original clock and volt meter. Engine temp gauge works but not hooked up. The tank was completely relined to new condition, new petcocks installed, fuel lines and filters replaced, and the wiring was rebuilt in the fairing by Peter Bombar. BMW Reports Q2 2011 Results
Wed, 10 Aug 2011BMW posted another record quarter, reporting sales of 37,471 motorcycles in the three months ended June 30, 2011. First quarter unit sales were 3.6% higher than the 36,175 motorcycles sold in the same quarter of 2010. Combined with a record first quarter, BMW has sold 60,580 units in the first half of the year, a 6.3% increase over 2010.
CFMoto 650TK Riders Set Record with 21,222-Mile Tour of China
Fri, 20 Dec 2013A couple of adventurers have claimed a new world record for longest journey by motorcycle in a single country after completing a 21,222-mile trek around China. Buck Perley and Amy Mathieson completed their trek, traveling all 33 of China’s provinces in 147 days on a CF Moto 650TK sport-tourer. Guinness World Records still needs to ratify the couple’s journey, but if it stands, they will have surpassed the previous record of 18,041 miles set by Steven H. Siler earlier this year, after he completed his 26-day trip around the U.S.
Americade Begins Tomorrow, Saturday June 1st
