Up for Sale is a 1961 BMW R27 250cc Motorcycle. Clear Title. 20,014 Miles. Matching Numbers # 375026. The Motorcycle has an older restoration ( 15 years ago). Not perfect, but very nice. It has a new battery, tank flushed, and new fuel line. Starts up, Runs good, No Smoke or leaks, shifts through the gears. All of the Electronics work. Front and rear brakes work as they should. The only thing the bike needs, to be driveable,  is the driving plate in the Drive shaft, Previous one dry rotted out. Overall the paint is still very nice. No dents in the tank or fenders. Handlebars do show some pitting. Overall a very nice example of a 1961 BMW R27. . You receive what is pictured. Please see my other vintage motorcycles and parts. But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

2014 BMW NineT Spied – Lo Rider Concept Finally Coming to Life

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

Germany’s Motorrad Magazin has uncovered new photos of an upcoming BMW motorcycle rumored to be called the NineT. We caught a glimpse of the boxer-engined roadster testing earlier this summer but the new pictures – snapped at a gas station in northern Italy – reveal three motorcycles that appear close to being ready for production. The name NineT recognizes the 90th year anniversary, and the new model references that history in its retro styling.

EICMA 2008: First Impressions

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
