Operated from new until it was parked in 1979 by Dorthy Hamilton of Leroy's Cycle Sales in Wichita Kansas.Many rare accessories from that time period.Engine has under 650 miles since complete rebuild with new 1st over pistons and bore,all valves,valve guides,cam followers,slingers cleaned.Has new clutch,low miles trans was inspected and resealed.Final drive also resealed and has very low miles.Wheels have new bearings and hub caps,tires and tubes.Bike starts on first kick and runs great! Now that your Christmas bills are paid off (at least, you would hope), you can start budgeting for your new Beemer, now that BMW Motorrad USA has released pricing information for the five newest models to its lineup, the R nineT, S1000R, R1200GS Adventure, K1600GTL Exclusive and R1200RT. Perhaps the most welcome news is the R nineT’s pricing at $14,900, making it just $800 more expensive than the R1200R‘s $14,100 price tag.
