2012 Bmw S 1000 RR, whiteRR - This is a gorgeous bike in perfect condition. It has ABS, DTC, gear shift assistant, full Akrapovic exhaust system with power commander, custom rider seat, LED turn signals, rear seat cowling, R&G Racing frame sliders, fender eliminator, Zero Gravity tinted buble windshield, carbon fiber rear mud guard and chain guard, and lots of custome decals. When we build a superbike, we have no time for second best. Presenting the very latest in racing power, the 2012 S 1000 RR. With an aluminum bridge, radial brakes, a super sporty tail-up nose-down design, hot colors and the ultimate combination of electronic rider assistance. The Race ABS, includes four modes, two for the road and two for the track, a banking rotation speed, gear-related Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) which allows slip. Never before has it been so easy to keep so much power under control. This is as true on public roads as it is on the racetrack. BMW Concept Ninety Stars at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2013
Mon, 27 May 2013The annual Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este usually features some of the world’s most beautiful classic cars, but this year’s show had a special exhibit celebrating the 90th anniversary of BMW Motorrad. More than 6,000 people visited the BMW Group-organized Concorso d’Eleganza on the shore of Italy’s Lake Como. The BMW Motorrad exhibit featured some of the company’s most notable motorcycles spanning 90 years of history including the original BMW R32 that started it all in 1923.
2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
Man Sues BMW for Causing Persistent Erection
Fri, 27 Apr 2012A man is suing BMW and seat-manufacturer Corbin-Pacific because a four-hour motorcycle ride gave him an erection that would not go away. The civil suit, filed in the Superior Court of California in San Francisco, alleges the plaintiff, Henry Wolf, developed a severe case of priapism after a long ride on a 1993 BMW motorcycle. Priapism is a medical condition where a penis becomes erect and does not return to a flaccid state.
