2011 BMW F800R, This F800R in the Motorsports livery is in excellent condition and we just completed a 6,000 mile service on the bike after taking it in. With only 4,107 one-owner miles it is a great find especially in the Red, White and Blue. The factory build consists of:- heated grips- ABS- on-board computer- accessory socket- clear indicator lensThe previous owner added the very cool colored-matched fly screen and that's it which is fine with us. BMW Makes ABS Standard Across Entire Lineup
Tue, 03 Jul 2012BMW announced it will make anti-lock brakes standard equipment across its entire lineup starting with the 2013 model year. The German manufacturer became the first to introduce ABS into serial production motorcycles in 1988 and now 25 years later, BMW will be the first to offer ABS across all of its models. BMW has already announced two 2013 models that will come with ABS, the updated F800GS and the F700GS.

Fri, 17 Jun 2011Charlotte, N.C., writer and motorcycle adventurer Tamela Rich is heading out on a cross-country ride to raise money for breast cancer causes. Along her tour, Rich will meet with breast cancer survivors and interview them for her upcoming book, “Live Full Throttle: What You Can Learn About Life From Women Who’ve Faced Cancer”. This will be Rich’s second tour across the country.
