BMW Other description

2007 Bmw K 1200 R Sport, k1200r - This bike is a ver nice shape. It has ABS, ESA, heated grips, on board computer, saddle bags, luggage rack, Garmin Street Pilot 2820, carbon fiber trim, handle bar risers, and Akrapovik slip-on muffler. Only the strong survive on the streets. The new K 1200 R Sport is the latest addition to BMWs collection of four-cylinder bikes. This performance sports tourer is a dynamic, more civilized version of the revolutionary K 1200 R, which won Motorcyclists Bike of the Year in 2005. It features a semi-faired design that provides protection from wind and rain while allowing the rider to assume a more upright position than other sport bikes. But dont let its refinements fool you. The K 1200 R Sport features the same 163 horsepower growl of its unfaired sibling and is capable of rocketing you to motorcycle euphoria in a matter of moments. Ready to hit the throttle?

BMW Begins Motorcycle Production in Thailand

Thu, 28 Nov 2013

BMW has opened a new motorcycle assembly line at the company’s factory in Thailand. The facility will initially only produce F800R roadsters from complete knock-down kits for the Thai market, though BMW plans to eventually make the facility a production hub for other Asian markets. The Thai facility is BMW’s first wholly-owned motorcycle assembly plant outside of Germany, though the company does share facilities in Manaus, Brazil with local manufacturer DAFRA Motos.
