2005 BMW K S, This bike is in excellent condition always garage kept and NEVER dropped. I hate to part with it but I just dont ride it anymore. Most of the mileage has come on long trips. All service has been done by the dealer on schedule (service was just completed and new Metzeler Sportec M3 tires added.) The bike has ABS, ESA and heated grips. BMW reported sales of 12,057 motorcycles in the U.S. in 2012, representing a 14.0% increase on the 10,572 units sold in 2011. Leading the way was the S1000RR, with BMW selling 1,934 of the sportbikes this year.

2014 BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy Announced

After holding three events in the southern hemisphere, the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy will go north in September 2014, to Canada. Billed as the GS riders’ Olympics, the biennial competition pits teams representing different countries against one another in a number of challenges testing their riding skills. Previous competitions had competitors riding the F800GS but for 2014, the GS Trophy will switch to the liquid-cooled R1200GS.
