BMW Other description

1995 BMW 1100 Rt , 1995 1100GS. 57,409 miles. Almost new tires, new master cylinder, bike has ABS, heated grips, I installed ELF pegs for longer rides (see pics). Comes with hard cases, a brand new never used tank bag, cover with lock, Bike has always been garaged by me. PIAA lights, crash bars, extended windshield for taller riders. *** Note*** this bike has a salvage title. I bought the bike from the person who also bought it with a salvage title. We both thought this was a stolen bike recovery because there was no major damage and the bike frame and drive train are perfect. He had it repainted and I have had the bike for 8 years without any problems. I have always had the bike serviced at BMW of Escondido so if there were any issues I know they would have found them. I installed new front brake pads, tires. This is a great bike at a great price. I will also throw in a battery tender for those of us who don't get to ride that often (reason for sale), helmet, new boots, gloves, and nearly new two season jacket if they fit you. Price is firm. Cash only no trades. $3800 I have enough junk:) Contact me via email or at . 7605256847 to set up a time to check it out. I have also had questions regarding insuring the bike. I have never had an issue getting it insured. Many companies treat a salvage bike the same way as any used bike. With regard to financing you may have trouble, but if your financing a $3800 bike you probably shouldn't be buying one.

Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.

2012 BMW C600 Sport and C650GT Scooter Preview

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

While Japanese OEMs persist in their cautiousness, BMW continues its assault on new markets, most recently with its incredible S1000RR literbike. Over the past four years, the German company has nearly doubled its 500cc-plus market share from about 7% to 13%, and the 2011 model year is on pace to set a sales record of more than 103,000 motorcycles. For 2012, BMW enters the lucrative scooter segment with a pair of twin-cylinder maxi-scoots claimed to combine the agility and comfort of a scooter with the riding qualities of a motorcycle.

Tom Sykes has taken over the lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings after splitting race victories with Chaz Davies at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit. Both races ended prematurely however with red flags during the final laps. Pata Honda‘s Jonathan Rea and FIXI Crescent Suzuki‘s Leon Camier both crashed on the 18th lap of Race One after running into oil spilled on the track from Pedercini Kawasaki racer Federico Sandi‘s ZX-10R.
