BMW K-Series description

The last and the best of the K1300S series BMW. 2016 will be the last production year of the K1300S. The bike is all stock, flawless, in an as new condition with 334 miles on the tach. A smooth and powerful allrounder with 175 HP, 103 lb/ft torque. All BMW options: BMW motorsport colors, heated grips, TPM, ABS, ESA 2, ASC, Gear shift assist, Akrapovic exhaust, carbon fibre bits, on board computer, forged wheels, etc. The bike has an existing and transferable 3 year, 36000 mile warranty, valid until Aug 2019. 2009 BMW S1000RR Entering Production

We’re finally able to share some pictures and info about the production version of BMW’s new literbike, the S1000RR. We now know that it has a claimed dry weight of 403 pounds, which should be competitive with its Japanese literbike rivals. The all-new inline-Four powerplant displaces 999cc, and its cylinder head is said to be very narrow and compact, with the valves actuated by “very small” cam followers that are nearly at Formula 1 levels in size.

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
