BMW K-Series description

This 2008 BMW K1200S is equipped with a liquid-cooled, 165 HP, 1157 cc inline 4, 4-stroke, fuel injected engine and shaft drive.  This Super-Sport Touring motorcycle is fast, agile and very comfortable.  The bike is in near flawless condition and has been garaged for the life of the bike.  The bike comes with the added features of a Sargent Cafe seat, Two Brothers carbon fiber exhaust pipe, BMW sport touring bags, and a BMW luggage rack.  OEM seat and pipe are included in the sale at no extra charge.  The bike has new tires (less than 500 miles) and new battery and was professionally serviced at 18,000 miles.  The bike has been well maintained and has never been dropped or wrecked in any way. 2013 BMW F800GT Revealed in CARB and EPA Documents

Documents released by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board confirm the existence of a new member of BMW‘s F800 lineup, the F800GT. The 2013 BMW F800GT will likely be a more touring-oriented replacement for the F800ST (pictured above) which was conspicuously absent from the CARB document.

40,000 bikers to descend on Garmisch-Partenkirchen

40,000 bikers are expected to head to the Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen during the first week of July for the annual BMW Motorrad Days event and you can join them. Billed as a celebration of all things two-wheeled and BMW, the event gives you a chance to test ride all the current BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna models and see stunt-riding world champion Chris Pfeiffer and meet the BMW World Superbike riders. BMW have organised a UK rideout to the event and with over 200 places taken so far, time's running out to book your slot.

BMW S1000RR drag bike

Whilst stretched out bikes aren't that popular over here in the UK, you can certainly appreciate them a whole lot more more when you know they're going to be used at a drag strip. This video shows bike builder and ex-racer Roland Sands work his magic on a BMW S1000RR. Future plans are to increase the engine to 300bhp, and achieve speeds of 220mph.
