I just purchased this bike 3 months ago in Auburn WA (Seattle), I moved to Atlanta GA 2 weeks ago and the bike was shipped. I'm now relocating again to LA Cali, and need to sale my bike before I go. The bike was put down once by prior owner but bike is in A1 condition and ready to roll. I purchase from Hinshaw Motor Sports in WA, bike was fully checked prior to my purchase. BMW Recalls 4,453 Motorcycles and Scooters for Side Stand Switch Problem
Thu, 13 Mar 2014BMW has initiated a recall on several motorcycle and scooter models because of a problem with the side stand switches failing in wet conditions. The recall affects 4,453 vehicles from the 2013 model year including the C600 Sport and C650GT scooters, F700GS, F800GS, F800GS Adventure, F800GT, R1200R and R1200GS. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, water may enter the side stand switch on affected vehicles from riding in wet conditions or even from vigorous washing.

Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
