Offered for your consideration is this awesome 1987 BMW K75S motorcycle with only 23,610 original miles. It has only had one owner since new. We have the original title in hand. It is an amazing example of a premium BMW motorcycle. Everything functions as it should with a total of 23,610 ordinal miles since new in 1987. The original, meticulous owner kept the bike in pristine condition. It comes with original side bags and top case too. A truly amazing survivor. BMW's K75S was heralded as "the quickest and fastest of the German company's 750 triples, and the best-handling BMW by a good margin," in a Cycle magazine road test from November of 1986. 2012-2013 BMW S1000RR Side Stand Recall Expands to US
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Earlier this month, we reported a recall issued by Transport Canada for the 2012 and 2013 BMW S1000RR because of a problem with their side stands. That recall has now expanded to the U.S., affecting 2,385 units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stand attachment bolts on the affect BMW S1000RR units can loosen because of a manufacturing fault.
EICMA 2012: BMW F800GT Announced as Replacement for F800ST
Tue, 13 Nov 2012As we reported in August, BMW is replacing its F800ST sport tourer with a new, more touring-oriented version called the F800GT. Revealed at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, the 2013 BMW F800ST is equipped with a 798cc parallel Twin engine claiming 88 hp at 8000rpm, an increase from the BMW F800ST’s claim of 84 hp at 8000rpm (the 2012 F700GS and F800GS also claims 84hp from a similar engine.) Other changes include better wind protection, lighter wheels, new higher-mounted handlebars, repositioned footrests, and load capacity increased to 456 pounds from 432 pounds. Like all current BMW motorcycles, the F800GT comes standard with ABS.

Not being a huge Ducati fan, when I was thrown the keys of this monster at Silverstone on Tuesday I was expecting an ill handling, weighty beast that would run out of revs and scare me to death. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong as I had an absolute blast.
