BMW K-Series description

The BMW "Flying Brick" an inline 4 fuel injected, shaft drive, single sided swing arm and telescopic forks. The bike comes with OEM hard side bags and top case as shown in the photos. It has the side stand which pulls up when you pull the clutch in and a center stand. It also has an aftermarket wind screen that fits on top of the OEM one.The bike is all original and stock. I think the only aftermarket parts on the bike would be the grips, tires and previously mentioned wind screen.

I took some photos with the bags off to show the condition and a few close ups of some of the small nicks here and there. There's a few paint chips but nothing major. The front fender is a little faded. I have a clear MA title. The front of the title has the mileage at 16,958 but the reverse indicates it hasn't reached that yet and the odometer also confirms it's only at 14,380. I believe somebody misplaced a decimal or mistakenly used the 10th of a mile digit as full miles.

The bike starts up and runs great leak free. Please send me a message if you have any questions.

It turns the S1000 RR into a real rocket, dominating all the standard "1-litres". The master decided to increase the power and traction by installing a turbocharger!

WSBK: 2012 Brno Results

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.
