BMW G650GS description

2009 BMW G650 GS, the perfect on-road and off-road bike. Averages over 60 mpg on long trips with plenty of power for the interstate or climbing hills. Good for experts and beginners. Majority of miles have been on long trips. 

Includes side cases (panniers) made by BMW for this bike. I bought them used and they have some dents/scratches but still work to hold your gear. Also includes touring shield, wind deflector/spoiler to direct airflow over the rider and lambskin seat cushion. 

All scheduled maintenance performed by BMW certified technicians and in good working order to ride today. Last maintenance at 14,000 miles with new chain and sprocket. New battery this year. A few scratches here and there, no dents and overall in good cosmetic condition.

2013 BMW R1200GS US Pricing Starts at $15,800

BMW Motorrad has announced U.S. pricing for the new 2013 R1200GS, with the German company’s updated flagship adventure tourer starting at $15,800. Recently reviewed by our EiC Kevin Duke, the 2013 BMW R1200GS is nearly completely re-designed, with the most notable new feature being a new 1170cc boxer engine with small radiators providing what BMW calls “Precision Cooling“.

BMW Introduces Dynamic Damping Control Suspension System

BMW has developed new suspension technology that automatically adjusts damping for different riding conditions. The Dynamic Damping Control is the next evolutionary step in BMW‘s suspension technology, following its Electronic Suspension Adjustment systems (ESA and ESA II). While ESA allowed the rider to adjust suspension settings with the push of a button, DDC automatically makes adjustments as you ride.

Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations

On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
