Nice 2 owner garage kept BMW with 6900 miles. Lots of add ons including Progressive front springs and rear shock, Twisted Throttle driving lamps, Factory heated grips, Factory aluminum metal side cases and mounts (bags not in photos but included), engine guards, skid guard, centerstand, GPS mount, Touring windshield, Fresh service. Dealer forgot to reset service indicator...:(

2011-2012 BMW K1600GT, K1600GTL Recalled in Canada for Engine Stall Issues

BMW is recalling the 2011-2012 K1600GT and K1600GTL in Canada because of a risk of the engine stalling. At the moment, a recall has only been confirmed for Canada, though we expect a similar recall to come for the U.S. market from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

BMW Names Schaller New Head of Motorcycle Development

BMW has appointed Karl Viktor Schaller as its new head of BMW Motorrad development. Schaller will replace Christian Landerl who headed motorcycle development since November 2008. Schaller studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich before becoming a scientific assistant at the research institute for gear wheels and gear manufacturing.
