BENDER sidecar made in Denmark. PLEASE NOTE that this BENDER sidecar is NOT made by BMW who offered Steib sidecars as an option with their own badge on them. I could not figure how to list this item on eBay and apologize for any confusion. BENDER is a totally independent company. Actual year unknown (late 60s/early 70s but still the older classic look). Sold with Bill of Sale as sidecars do not have titles.
Basically solid with surface rust that needs to be sand blasted and painted for a cosmetic restoration. This style of sidecar is becoming hard to find and this one was imported from Europe (2000 euros) and shipped to the West Coast. Due to certain health issues I am offering this cool sidecar with a very fair reserve as I do not have the energy right now to install it. Comes with some attachments but others may be needed depending on the bike it is mounted to. Nimbus, NSU, Horex, Simson, Zundapp etc,. WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
Preliminary 2012 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 13 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. The provisional list includes 21 riders in the premiere class, including nine classified as Claiming Rule Team entries. Defending MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner will wear the #1 plate for the 2012 season, the first with both CRT entries and the new 1000cc engine displacement cap.
