Aprilia rsv1000r description

Selling my 2009 white/grey/black Aprilia RSV1000R with 10,323 miles. I am not the original owner but the previous owner did a great job of maintaining the bike and I have continued with that. It has carbon fiber Akrapovic dual exhaust that looks fantastic and sounds incredible. It has the upgraded Aprilia seat and tinted turn signal covers along with a black windscreen.  Michelin Pilot Power 2 tires are almost new.  The pictures show the matching hard seat cowl but I also have the passenger seat. Has shorty levers. The bike has Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes.

The bike has no issues at all.  I changed the oil and brake fluid all within the past 300 miles.  There are a few cosmetic blemishes that I have shown in the pictures:  light scratches on the tank, some staining on the Aprilia sticker on the right side lower fairing and some small scratches on the left upper fairing and right lower failing.  The cosmetic items are simply due to it being a 7-year old bike.  There are no mechanical issues. The bike runs great and I get compliments everywhere I go with it.  Aprilia motorcycles are not very common on the road and do draw attention because of the great looks and that v-twin sound.

If you would like to see any additional pictures I can send them to you but I think the ones I have in the ad provide a realistic picture of what you are getting.

I would prefer local buyers for ease of transfer but if you are far away, the bike can be shipped to you at your own expense.  EBay has some nice shipping options that you can consider.  I have a clear title in hand.  I will note that on the title it does say "not actual" mileage which in talking with the previous owner appears to be a mistake.  The bike has the stock sprockets so the mileage should be true.

All sales are final. Sold as is with no warranties so please ask questions. The winning bidder will need to make a $500 deposit through PayPal within 48 hours of the close of the auction.  Final payment can be made within 7 days following close of auction through cashier's check if you are remote or cash if you are local and will be picking it up. I will not ship if you are paying by cashier's check until the check has been verified with the bank and funds deposited into my account. I will mail the completed title to you upon shipping and payment.  Thank you for looking.

Nearly a year later, the final production version of the Vespa 946 has been revealed, just days ahead of the 2012 EICMA show.

Anthony West Can’t Afford to Pay to Race MotoGP, Mulls Retirement

Fri, 27 Jan 2012

The 2012 MotoGP season is still months away and the world championship has already lost an entry, as veteran Anthony West announced his withdrawal from the series because he cannot afford to compete. The 30-year-old Australian racer was included on the provisional 2012 MotoGP entry list to compete for the Speed Master team on an Aprilia CRT machine. But with the official pre-season test at Sepang, Malaysia, coming up next week, West says he will not race because teams are asking riders to pay too much to race for them.

New Aprilia Scarabeo Scooter Videos are Kinda Lame

Thu, 11 Jun 2009

Aprilia just posted some new videos on YouTube for their 2009 Scarabeo scooters and damn, they are cheesy.  The most cheesy thing about them is the music.  The 80′s called… The 3 minute video features several different kinds of Aprilia Scarabeo scooter and each one has its own “music” to accompany it.  Awesome! Check the full article for the post.  Make sure you have your speakers cranked so people around you can enjoy. Get the Flash Player to see this player.
