Breaks my heart to sell it. Have to for financial reasons. Bought in new in the fall for a little over 17K, including tax and a jacket. Stored it for several months in the winter. Barely ridden. This is a rare opportunity to get the bike at such a cheap price. Have to get out from under the loan. Gonna take a big bath here. Has about 5 months left on the Manufacturers warranty.
This is simply an amazing bike, the best in all regards I have ever experienced. So elegant in the vicious amount of speed it has. The braking is smooth, I have never noticed the ABS. No shuddering. I have been very gentle with it since the engine is new. The low end to high end torque and sheer power is surreal. It lays down a tight line, no diving or wobbling ever, moves like it has gyroscopes under it. At highway speeds it purrs like a kitten. Just a profoundly elegant ride in all respects as well as a beast when the throttle is twisted. The computer is simple to use. The bike wants the open road with high speed twisties. "It's claimed the machine was raced by Nobi Iso in AMA in 2002 and 2003. It's since undergone a full restoration and comes with a comprehensive spares package, Don't confuse this with the road-going RS250 Aprilia; it's a proper GP250 machine, similar to the bikes raced by Biaggi and Rossi in the early part of their careers.

Thu, 20 Feb 2014Hopefully a 12-year old is looking at this 2014 Aprilia RSV4 SBK wide-eyed, with his jaw on the floor in the same way I looked at Fogarty's 1994 Ducati 916 SBK twenty (shit, I feel old) years ago and the feelings he gets from seeing that Aprilia will spur him on to become a biker! I could look at that for hours, it's a work of art.
