Aprilia SXV550 description

Letting go of my 2007 Aprilia SXV 550 Supermoto! This thing absolutely rips, you'll find it pretty hard to have more fun on a motorcycle than this. Clean and clear title in hand and VERY recently serviced throughout. Not the original owner, at least one previous owner. I purchased it from a gentleman when it was due for the service listed below and completed everything needed. I have not had any time since purchasing it to ride and have put maybe 100 miles on it.

Only 6,137 miles

Extras include:
-Full Akrapovic Evo Titanium Exhaust System
-Samco Coolant Hose Kit
-Aprilia Open Top Airbox Mod
-Carbon Fiber Fork Protectors
-New Brake Pads
-Recently Serviced by EDR Performance: Valves checked, Fresh Coolant, Fresh Oil, Battery Tested, Brakes Inspected, Chain and Sprockets Serviced.

Ready to ride with no issues! Clean Title In Hand.

Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I can transport to Oregon, Seattle, and some parts of Northern California for a cost. I've also used many transport companies before and can make recommendations if needed. Deposit required after winning auction.

Charge Up you iPhone While You Ride

Fri, 12 Feb 2010

Motorcyclists can now enjoy total freedom on the open road confident in the knowledge that their cell phones, GPS, MP3 players and latest generation of iPhone/iTouch devices will remain fully-charged and in-service for the duration of the ride thanks to Powerlet’s plug and play systems. “Our product line was inspired by personal experience and the realization that there were no worthwhile options for clean, reliable on-board power for cell phones, stereos and GPS devices,” says Powerlet Products founder Adam Bonislawaski. “Before we came on to the scene, riders would bust out the black tape and wire strippers and cut into their bike’s fragile wiring to tie-in a cheap cigar lighter to power their devices.

A number of manufacturers have tinkered with various three-wheeled motorcycle applications over the years. Companies like Piaggio, Can-Am, Brudeli and even Harley-Davidson have produced unique trikes with ranging levels of success. The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.

2010 Aprilia RSV4R Engine Failure Delays Press Launch [video]

Wed, 28 Oct 2009

Aprilia cut short its launch event for the new RSV4R at Italy’s Mugello circuit as not one, not two, not three, not even four but FIVE pre-production models suffered engine failure. Motorcycle.com contributor Tor Sagen was at Mugello in Tuscany and was scheduled to do a few laps on the world-class circuit on the RSV4R, a lower-spec version of the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. Tor reports the engine problems were being attributed to the conrods from the first batch of 50 pre-production engines.
