Engine has low miles on top and bottom end (3 track weekends). Currently setup with oil injection. Bike Includes: Arrow exhaust system with Carbon Fiber Silencers. Brembo Cast Aluminum Brake Calipers (Front and Rear). Fresh crank with low miles (3 weekends) with fresh top end. This bike has a large selection of new and low mile spares (almost all used spares have been pulled well before service interval limits). TYGA Stainless Steel Exhaust System, Aluminum Silencers. 3 Cylinders (one in good condition, 2 require repair) with power valve assemblies. 4 heads (3 in good condition, 1 damaged). 1 set of Carburetors. 1 CDI Unit. Price Cut for Aprilia Tuono 1000R

Piaggio USA has announced a price cut and special financing offer on the Aprilia Tuono 1000R to help clear inventory for the impending arrival of the streetfighter’s successor, the Aprilia Tuono V4R. The winner of our 2009 Streetfighters Shootout, the Aprilia Tuono 1000R is regularly priced at $12,999, but until Sept. 30, 2011, Aprilia USA is cutting the price to as low as $7,499 (for the 2007 edition of the Tuono).

Piaggio Reports 2012 Sales Results

The Piaggio Group reported a 7.3% decrease in net sales and a 9.0% decrease in net profit for 2012, thanks in large part to a sharp decline in demand in Europe including an all-time low for motorcycle sales in Italy. Piaggio reported net sales of 1.406 billion euros (US$1.842 billion) in 2012, down from 1.516 billion euros in 2011. Motorcycles and scooters accounted for net sales of 993.3 million euros  (US$1.301 billion), a 3.1% decrease from 1.025 billion euros reported for 2011.

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
